I'm glad I didn't get a full price copy on Xbox, and given how it maxes out my PC I don't think the console version is ever going to look as good as this. When you start interacting with anyone not associated with a quest you are actually slapped into the realization that although the city has great traffic, great pedestrians, a great presentation, the look of a living city, in reality it is an illusion, a shallow representationĬlick to expand.I was waiting for the Series X version, but I caved and got a cheap Windows copy to see what my freshly built PC could do (3080Ti + R5900X). Yes, I’m repeating myself, but it‘so good in appearance you can almost think you are in a full blown simulation, stop someone on the street and bum a cigarette. The city is freaking amazing, and in a way that is it’s downfall. Still, I might just play though it again. You can really tell they cut the story short in the transition from your origins quest into life in the city. I’ve played through 2 times, once as a Nomad female, once Corpo male. That said, I’m still impressed that they created this as it is. But outside the main and companion quests, you don’t have a life, no friends, no social life, an apartment there is no need to visit. But it is all the other filler quests mostly feel like busy work, kill, collect, and earn street credit. The main quest is damned amazing, it’s incredible imho, and the companion quests are very good.
The other thing is the questing environment.
